Walking

Color Me Mine is located at 1950 Mt Diablo Blvd in downtown Walnut Creek. If you are already in the downtown area, walking is a convenient option. From Broadway Plaza, walk east along Mt Diablo Blvd for about 5 minutes. The studio will be on your right, near the intersection with N California Blvd. Look for the colorful storefront.
Public Transport

If arriving by BART, exit at the Walnut Creek station. From the station, you can take the free Route 4 Downtown Trolley, which loops through downtown and stops near Color Me Mine. Alternatively, several County Connection buses (routes 4, 5, 21, 321, 602, 605) stop near the intersection of Mt Diablo Blvd and Locust St, a short walk from the studio. A single ride on County Connection buses costs $2.25.
Taxi/Ride-Share

Taxi and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in Walnut Creek. A ride from the Walnut Creek BART station to Color Me Mine typically costs between $8 and $12, depending on traffic and demand.
Driving

If driving, take I-680 to the N Main St exit. Head south on N Main St, then turn left onto Mt Diablo Blvd. Color Me Mine will be on your left. Metered street parking is available on Mt Diablo Blvd, costing $2 per hour with a 3-hour limit in the downtown core. Several parking garages are also nearby, including the Lesher Center Garage (1625 Locust Street), South Locust Street Parking Garage (1350 Locust Street), and Broadway Parking Garage (1390 Broadway). Parking in these garages costs $1.25 per hour, with the first hour free. The Plaza Garage at 1333 N California Blvd offers parking at $2 for 30 minutes, with a daily maximum of $20.

The studio is a popular destination for birthday parties, bridal showers, team-building events, and other group gatherings. Once you're finished painting, you leave your piece at the studio to be glazed and fired in a kiln. Your finished masterpiece will be ready for pick-up in about a week. Under new ownership since August 2023, Color Me Mine in Walnut Creek is committed to providing the best service and expanding its offerings.
