Car
If you're traveling by car, start on Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1) heading west. Continue until you reach the intersection with Encinal Canyon Road. Turn left onto Encinal Canyon Road and follow it for about 1.5 miles. Charmlee Wilderness Park will be on your left at 2577 Encinal Canyon Rd, Malibu, CA 90265. There is a parking lot available at the park, and parking is free.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Metro Bus Line 534 from Santa Monica towards Malibu. You will need to get off at the stop near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Encinal Canyon Road. From there, the park is approximately a 30-minute walk (about 1.5 miles) along Encinal Canyon Road. Be mindful of traffic while walking, as the road may not have sidewalks in all areas. Alternatively, consider using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft from the bus stop to the park for convenience.
