Getting There

  • Hiking

    From Yosemite Village, start your journey by heading towards the Yosemite Falls trailhead. Follow the signs for the Yosemite Falls trail; the trailhead is located near the visitor center. The hike to Glacier Point is approximately 10 miles and is a strenuous trek, taking around 6 to 8 hours one way, so plan your time accordingly. As you ascend, enjoy breathtaking views of the valley below, including El Capitan and Half Dome. Continue on the trail until you reach Glacier Point.

    During the summer months, take advantage of the Yosemite Shuttle System. From Yosemite Village, board the shuttle bus at the designated stop near the visitor center.
