Getting There

  • Walking

    From Yosemite Village, start at the Yosemite Visitor Center. Head south on Village Drive towards the intersection with Southside Drive. Continue straight until you reach Southside Drive, then turn left. Follow Southside Drive until you reach the shuttle stop for the Yosemite Valley Shuttle (Stop #7: Southside Drive). Board the shuttle heading towards the 'Yosemite Falls' stop. Stay on the shuttle until you reach the 'El Capitan' stop (Stop #8).

    Once you disembark at the 'El Capitan' stop, walk towards the road that leads to the El Capitan viewpoint. After enjoying the view, retrace your steps back to the shuttle stop. Take the shuttle again towards the 'Badger Pass' stop (Stop #9).
