From the shuttle stop, it's a short walk to the picnic area. The shuttle operates from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and arrives every 12 to 22 minutes. There is no cost to ride the shuttle.

    If driving, Cathedral Beach Picnic Area is located on Southside Drive, a few miles east of Bridalveil Fall. Look for the picnic area sign along the road near El Capitan Bridge. Limited parking is available in a small lot and along the road. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can fill up quickly, especially during peak season.
