If you are driving, navigate to Yosemite Valley. From the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, head west on Southside Drive. Look for signs directing you to Lower Yosemite Fall. The trailhead is located at the end of Lower Yosemite Fall Trail, which will be on your left after about 1 mile. There is a parking lot available at the trailhead, but be aware that it can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. A parking fee may be required, so have cash or a credit card ready.
Yosemite Shuttle
For those using public transportation, the Yosemite Valley Shuttle is an excellent option. Board the shuttle at any of the designated stops within Yosemite Valley. Look for the shuttle that is heading towards the Lower Falls area. The shuttle runs frequently, especially during the busy season. You will want to get off at the 'Lower Falls' stop, which is directly adjacent to the Lower Yosemite Fall Trailhead. The shuttle service is included with your park entrance fee, so no additional cost is required.
