If you are driving from the center of Kampong Speu, head south on National Road 4 (also known as NR4). Continue on NR4 for approximately 20 km until you reach the intersection with Road 3. Turn left onto Road 3 and continue for about 10 km. You will pass by several local shops and farms along the way. After about 10 minutes, look for signs indicating Wat Samathi Pagoda. The pagoda will be on your right, and there is a parking area available for visitors.
Public Transportation
To reach Wat Samathi Pagoda via public transportation, first, head to the main bus station in Kampong Speu, which is located near the city center. Look for a local bus or share taxi heading towards Krong Kaeb. The fare is typically around $1-$2. Once you arrive in Krong Kaeb (approximately 30-40 minutes), you will need to take a moto-taxi or tuk-tuk for the remaining distance to Wat Samathi Pagoda, which is about 5 km away. Negotiate the fare with the driver beforehand; it should be around $2-$3.
