Car
From Kampong Thom, head northwest on National Road 6. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for the turn-off to the waterfall. Look for signs indicating 'Chrok La Eang Waterfall' as you approach. Turn left onto the smaller road and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will reach a parking area near the waterfall entrance. Be prepared for some unpaved sections as you get closer.
Public Transportation (Bus/Taxi)
Start by taking a local bus or taxi from Kampong Thom to the junction of National Road 6, which is about 15 kilometers from the town center. Once you reach the junction, you can hire a moto-taxi or tuk-tuk to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to Chrok La Eang Waterfall. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around $5-$10.
Walking
If you are adventurous and enjoy walking, you can start from Kampong Thom and follow National Road 6 for about 15 kilometers. Once you reach the junction for the waterfall, you can walk the additional 5 kilometers down the smaller road. However, be cautious of the traffic and the heat, and make sure to carry plenty of water. It is recommended to start early in the morning to avoid the midday sun.
