If you are driving from the town center of Kampot, head southeast on National Road 3 (NR3) for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs for 'Heaven Gate' or MXMJ+MW on your GPS. Turn right onto a smaller road when you see the heaven gate sign. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance. There is limited parking available near the site.
Public Transportation (Tuk-Tuk)
For those using public transport, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Kampot town. Most tuk-tuk drivers will know the way to Heaven Gate, but it’s helpful to show them the location on your phone (coordinates: 10.6841309, 103.9822567). The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes and should cost around $10-$15, depending on negotiation.
Public Transportation (Motorbike Rental)
You can also rent a motorbike in Kampot for a more adventurous option. Visit a local rental shop and pay around $5-$10 per day. Follow the same route as driving: head southeast on NR3 for 10 kilometers, then turn right onto the smaller road for another 3 kilometers until you arrive at Heaven Gate. Make sure to wear a helmet, and be cautious of local traffic.
