From the center of Kampot, start at the Old Market area. Head south on Street 1 towards the riverside for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Street 2. Turn left onto Street 2 and continue walking for about 800 meters. You will pass various local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the Kampot River on your right side as you walk. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road leading towards the Lok Yeay Mao Monument. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see the monument on your left. The monument is a prominent structure, so it should be easily visible.

Rent a bicycle from any local shop in Kampot. Start at your rental location and head towards the Old Market area. Cycle south along Street 1 for about 500 meters, then turn left onto Street 2. Continue cycling for about 800 meters, passing by local shops and the beautiful Kampot River. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit towards the Lok Yeay Mao Monument. The cycling route is mostly flat, and you'll enjoy the scenic views along the way. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and the monument will be on your left.
