Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kep, ideally near the Kep Market. Head south on Road 33A towards the coast. After about 1 km, you will see signs for the Kep Butterfly Garden. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads to the garden entrance, which is approximately 2 km down this road. There is ample parking available at the garden.

• Tuk Tuk

  For a more local experience, consider hiring a tuk tuk from anywhere in Kep. Most tuk tuk drivers are familiar with the Kep Butterfly Garden. Simply tell the driver 'Kep Butterfly Garden' or point them to the location on a map. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes from the center of Kep and typically costs around $3-$4.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from the main bus station in Kep. Look for a bus heading towards the coast or to the nearby town of Kampot, as some of these buses may stop near the Butterfly Garden. However, be prepared to walk about 1 km from the nearest bus stop to reach the garden. The bus fare is usually around $1, but be sure to ask the driver in advance if they can drop you off close to your destination.

  For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to explore Kep. You can rent a bike from various shops in the town.
