Walking
From the center of Kep, head southwest towards the beach. Walk along the beachfront promenade until you reach the Kep Crab Market. Continue past the market and keep walking along the main road (Preah Sihanouk Avenue) until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Thmey Village. Turn left onto the road that leads to Thmey Village. Continue straight until you see signs for the Mangrove Protected Forest. The entrance is marked, and you can walk straight in from there.

From Kep Beach, a tuk-tuk to the Mangrove Protected Forest costs approximately $1-3. Agree on the fare before starting your journey. The ride takes around 10-15 minutes from Kep Beach or the Crab Market.
