The most common way to reach Lonely Beach is by ferry from Sihanoukville. Several companies operate ferries to Koh Rong, including Speed Ferry Cambodia, Island Speed Boat Cambodia, and Buva Sea. From the Royal Pier in Sihanoukville, a direct ferry to Lonely Beach takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. A one-way ticket costs around $30. Alternatively, you can take a faster ferry to Koh Touch and then transfer to a local taxi boat. Keep in mind that the Palm Beach boat is the only transport that goes to the north of the island.
