The most common way to reach Tamu Hotel Koh Rong is by ferry from Sihanoukville. Several companies operate speed ferries with multiple daily departures. The ferry journey typically takes around 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Koh Rong, you will need to transfer to Pagoda Beach. Some ferries go directly to Pagoda Beach Pier. If your ferry does not go directly to Pagoda Beach, you can take a local boat from the main pier in Koh Rong to Pagoda Beach. These boat rides typically last 15-20 minutes. Ferry tickets from Sihanoukville to Koh Rong range from $12 to $25 per person for a round trip. A direct speedboat from Sihanoukville to Tamu Koh Rong-Pagoda Beach costs $20 one way, or $40 round trip.

If you are already on Koh Rong, and staying in the main area, you can walk to Tamu Hotel Koh Rong. Head towards the beach and walk southwards along the beach path. You'll pass various beach bars and accommodations. Continue walking for about 30-40 minutes until you reach Pagoda Beach. The path may narrow at times, but keep following the beach until you see the clear waters of Pagoda Beach ahead. There is no cost associated with walking.
