Bousra Waterfall, or Bou Sra Waterfall, is a captivating natural attraction nestled in the Pech Chreada District of Mondulkiri Province, Cambodia. Located approximately 43 kilometers northeast of Sen Monorom, the provincial capital, it is considered by many to be the most beautiful waterfall in Mondulkiri.Bousra is more than just a scenic wonder; it holds cultural importance for the Bunong people, an indigenous group who have long regarded the falls as a sacred site. Originally, the Bunong people used the falls for washing and performing rituals, seeking favor from the gods and connection with past generations. Although tourism has increased, the Bunong people continue to celebrate their traditions at Bousra Waterfall. The waterfall has three distinct tiers, each offering a unique perspective. The first tier is easily accessible and features a wide cascade with a height that varies between 8 to 25 meters depending on the season. The first tier is a popular spot for swimming and picnics. The second tier, located 150 meters from the first, presents a more dramatic drop as water rushes over the rocks. The third tier is more challenging to reach due to the dense surrounding jungle.
