Discover more about Sen Monorom Waterfall

Sen Monorom Waterfall, also known as Damnak Sdach Waterfall, Monorom Waterfall, or Sen Monorom Rapids, is a favorite destination for those seeking a quick and easy nature escape near Sen Monorom. Situated approximately 5 kilometers from the town center, the waterfall is accessible via a red soil trail that winds through plantations of rubber, coffee, and cashew trees. The waterfall features three distinct stages. The first stage has a gentle flow, with the water cascading over a one-meter height across a 2-4 meter diameter. The second stage is more dramatic, especially during the rainy season when the water rushes down from a height of 6-7 meters across an 8-meter diameter. A kilometer away from the second stage lies the third tier, a smaller 1.5-meter drop. While all three tiers offer something to explore, the second stage is often considered the most impressive. Sen Monorom Waterfall is a popular gathering place, especially on holidays and weekends, where locals come to picnic and relax. The waterfall serves almost as a public swimming pool for the local community. The falls are busiest around noon on weekends. Though a hydroelectric plant upstream may detract from the pristine natural setting for some, the waterfall remains a refreshing and easily accessible natural attraction.
