Car
From the city center of Preah Vihear, head north on National Road 63. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take a left turn onto Road 6A and follow the signs for Prasat Sambor Prei Kuk. The site is located about 10 kilometers down this road. Look for the entrance marked 'Prasat Sambor Prei Kuk' on your right. Parking is available at the site.
Public Transportation
From Preah Vihear, take a local bus or shared taxi heading to Kompong Thom. Buses and taxis leave frequently from the central bus station. The fare is typically around $5-$7. Inform the driver that you would like to stop at Prasat Sambor Prei Kuk. Once you arrive at the junction near the archaeological site, you may need to hire a moto (motorbike taxi) for a short ride to the entrance, which should cost around $2.
Motorbike Rental
If you prefer to travel independently, consider renting a motorbike in Preah Vihear. Rentals usually cost about $5-$10 per day. Follow the same route as by car; head north on National Road 63, turn left onto Road 6A, and continue for about 10 kilometers until you see the entrance on your right.
