Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Krong Ban Lung, head east on Street 78 towards National Road 19. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction. Turn left onto National Road 19 and drive for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs for Lake Yeak Laom on your right. Follow the signs and take the right turn onto the access road leading to the lake. There is a parking area available near the entrance.

• Public Transportation (Taxi or Tuk-Tuk)

  From the center of Krong Ban Lung, you can hire a taxi or tuk-tuk from any of the local transportation stands. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around $5-$10 depending on the negotiation skills. The driver will take you directly to Lake Yeak Laom. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the return fare with the driver beforehand.

• Motorbike Rental

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a motorbike. Rental shops are available in Krong Ban Lung with prices around $5-$7 per day. From the rental shop, head east on Street 78, continue on National Road 19 for about 5 kilometers, and look for the signs directing you to Lake Yeak Laom. The ride is enjoyable and offers scenic views of the countryside. Remember to wear a helmet and drive safely.

• Walking (if nearby)

  If you are staying close to the lake, you can walk to Lake Yeak Laom. Make your way east towards Street 78 and then join National Road 19 heading southeast. It is about a 3-kilometer walk from the center of Krong Ban Lung. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the local scenery and take your time. Ensure you have plenty of water, especially if walking during the day.
