The Preah Thong Neang Neak Roundabout is a significant landmark in Sihanoukville, marked by a statue that represents the mythical origins of Cambodia. The statue portrays Prince Preah Thong holding the veil of Princess Neang Neak, a Naga princess, as they journey to meet his parents in the Naga realm. This symbolizes the creation of Khmer land, culture, traditions, and civilization. The statue is made of pure bronze and weighs 60 tons. It was manufactured in China starting in April 2020 and arrived at the port of Sihanoukville on March 25, 2022. A team of 35 specialists installed it at the roundabout. The monument is located at the intersection of Chner Reang Boulevard and Chumteav Mao Boulevard in Prey Nob district. The statue faces towards Ream beach. The monument is the third statue to be installed in the district. The inauguration ceremony was held on April 16, 2022, and was attended by Prime Minister Hun Sen.
