• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Takeo, head north on National Road 2 (NH2) towards Phnom Penh. Continue for about 35 kilometers until you reach the junction with National Road 5. Take a right turn onto NH5 and continue for approximately 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Krong Battambang. Follow these signs until you reach the Angkor Express Boat terminal, located at 49/170, Street 1.5, Phum 20 Ousphea, Krong Battambang. Parking may be available near the terminal, but check for any fees.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From the center of Takeo, locate the bus station which is usually near the market area. Look for buses heading towards Battambang. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to tell the bus driver you want to stop at the Angkor Express Boat terminal (49/170, Street 1.5, Phum 20 Ousphea, Krong Battambang) so they can let you off at the closest point. The bus fare is typically around $2-4.

• Tuk Tuk

  For a more local experience, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Takeo to take you directly to the Angkor Express Boat terminal. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around $20-$30, depending on your starting point and the distance. The ride will take about 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Make sure to instruct the driver to take you to 49/170, Street 1.5, Phum 20 Ousphea, Krong Battambang.
