  • Taxi

    From Nkongsamba, the most convenient way to reach Ekom Nkam Waterfalls is by taxi. Negotiate a round-trip fare with a driver to take you to the falls, wait for you, and return you to Nkongsamba. The journey is approximately 20 km and includes driving north on the N5 until Melong II, where you'll see a sign for Ekom Waterfalls, then turning right onto an unpaved road. Expect to pay around 10,000 XAF ($17 USD) for a 2-3 hour round trip. Negotiate the price beforehand.

  • Motorbike

    Another option from Nkongsamba is to hire a motorbike taxi (benskin). This is a cheaper alternative, costing around 5,000 XAF ($9 USD) for a round trip. The route is the same as with a regular taxi: north on the N5 to Melong II, then turn right towards the falls. Ensure to negotiate the price before starting the journey.

The falls are particularly powerful and visually stunning during the rainy season, which runs from March to October.
