The base has the armorial bearings of the state and the Cameroonian armed forces. Designed by Lieutenant-Colonel Maurice Teguel, the monument immortalizes the memory of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country.Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, the monument provides a tranquil retreat from the busy city.
