Getting There

• Walking

  From the Douala International Airport (Aéroport International de Douala), exit the airport and head towards the nearest bus stop. Take any local bus heading towards Douala city center (Centre Ville). Once you reach the city center, get off at the 'Marché de Douala' bus stop. From there, walk towards Rue de la République, and continue straight until you reach Avenue de Gaulle. Turn right and walk until you reach the intersection with Avenue des États-Unis. Cross the street and continue straight until you see Parcours Vita on your left. It’s a well-known park, so locals can guide you if needed.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in the city center. Start at the 'Place des fêtes' and head towards Avenue de Gaulle. Follow Avenue de Gaulle until you reach the intersection with Avenue des États-Unis. Turn left onto Avenue des États-Unis and continue cycling straight. Look for signs pointing towards Parcours Vita; it’s about a 15-minute ride from the city center. You may need to navigate through some local streets, but keep an eye out for the park’s entrance.

• Motorbike Taxi (Okada)

  To take a motorbike taxi (locally known as Okada), find a motorbike taxi stand near your location, or ask a local to help you find one. Tell the driver to take you to 'Parcours Vita'. This is a popular destination and most drivers will know it. The ride from the city center should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you wear a helmet for safety.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From the city center, locate the bus terminal and take a bus going towards Bonanjo. Get off at the 'Stade de la Réunification' bus stop. From there, you can walk to Parcours Vita by heading towards Avenue de Gaulle, then follow the road signs to the park. It’s approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
