Bicycle
From the center of Edea, head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards Rue de l'Education. Continue on Avenue de l'Indépendance for about 2 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Route D'Edea. Follow the Route D'Edea for approximately 6 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the junction at MMJ9+7PV, turn left and follow the signs leading to Douala - Eda Wildlife Reserve. The entrance is well-marked, and you will find parking available for bicycles.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus station in Edea, take a bus heading towards Douala. Ensure to ask the driver or conductor to drop you off at the stop closest to the entrance of Douala - Eda Wildlife Reserve. The journey should take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to the entrance of the reserve, following the signs that lead you along the path. Keep an eye out for local wildlife on your way!
Walking
If you're in the southern part of Edea, start your walk on Avenue de l'Indépendance heading towards the center. Once you reach the main square, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route D'Edea. Cross at the traffic lights and turn left onto Route D'Edea. Walk for about 7 km until you reach the junction at MMJ9+7PV. The entrance to Douala - Eda Wildlife Reserve is just a short walk from there. Look for signs directing you to the reserve entrance.
