Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Edea, head to the nearest bus station, which is located at the central market area. Look for a bus heading to Kribi. The journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Inform the bus driver or the conductor that you want to get off at the Kribi junction, which is a popular stop.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive at the Kribi junction, exit the bus and look for signs directing you towards the beach area. Walk straight along the main road (Avenue de la Libération) for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass local shops and eateries. Continue until you reach the beach front. The Le Phare De Kribi is located on the beach, and you will see the lighthouse in the distance.

  • Taxi

    At the Kribi junction, you can also take a motorcycle taxi (commonly called 'benskin') or regular taxi directly to Le Phare De Kribi. Just tell the driver 'Le Phare' or 'the lighthouse' and they will take you there. The ride is short, around 15 minutes, and you’ll be dropped off right at the entrance.
