Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Ebolowa, the capital of the South Region. Head north on the N3 highway towards Yaoundé. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit toward the D3 road heading towards the town of Akom II. Continue on the D3 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with the D7 road. Turn left onto the D7 road and drive for another 30 kilometers. You will see signs for Amebisu. Once in Amebisu, follow the local roads until you reach the coordinates VFVV+5W2 which is the location of réserve forestière de la Mone.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start your journey at the Ebolowa bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Yaoundé, and get off at Akom II. From Akom II, you can find shared taxis or local minivans that head towards Amebisu. The fare for the bus is approximately 1000 CFA, and shared taxis may cost around 500 CFA per person. Once in Amebisu, you can ask locals for directions to the coordinates VFVV+5W2, the location of réserve forestière de la Mone. It’s advisable to carry a map or download a navigation app for easier guidance.
Walking
