From the center of Foumban, head towards the main market area (Marché de Foumban). Once you reach the market, ask locals for directions to the Koutaba road (Route de Koutaba). Walk along this road for approximately 2 km until you reach the village of Koutaba. Continue straight until you see a sign for 'Camp btap'. The camp is approximately 5 km from the center of Koutaba, so keep an eye on the surroundings and ask local residents if you're uncertain about your path.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Foumban. Start at the town's main square and make your way to the Koutaba road (Route de Koutaba). From the market, cycle along this road for about 2 km. Once you reach Koutaba, continue on the same road for an additional 5 km until you find Camp btap. Be sure to keep your speed moderate and be cautious of local traffic.
Motorbike Taxi (Zemidjan)
Find a motorbike taxi (locally known as 'zemidjan') in Foumban. Communicate your destination by saying 'Koutaba' and the driver should understand. The ride to Koutaba should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Koutaba, ask the driver to drop you off near the entrance to Camp btap, or you can ask locals for the exact location.
