Walking
If you are starting from the central market in Garoua (Marché Central), head east on Avenue de la Réunification. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will pass a few local shops and eateries. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a large green space on your right; this is the Public Garden. The entrance is marked and should be visible from the road.

If you are near the Garoua Sports Stadium, exit the stadium grounds and turn right onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk along this avenue heading west for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several small shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the large green area on your left after about 15-20 minutes of walking; this is the Public Garden. The entrance is easily identifiable.

For those coming from the Garoua Bus Station, exit the station and head south on Rue du Marché. Continue until you reach the crossroad with Avenue de la Réunification. Turn right and walk along Avenue de la Réunification for about 800 meters. After approximately 10-12 minutes of walking, look for the signs indicating the Public Garden on your left; it will be a large green area that you can easily enter.
