If you are starting from the central market in Garoua (Marché Central), head east on Avenue de la Réunification. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will pass a few local shops and eateries. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a large green space on your right; this is the Public Garden. The entrance is marked and should be visible from the road.
