Chutes de la Métché: A Natural Wonder

Chutes de la Métché is a breathtaking waterfall nestled in the heart of Cameroon, near Bafoussam, making it an iconic destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The falls are also known as a place of purification and a site for traditional worship for the Bamileke people.Historically, the falls are known as a tragic site during Cameroon's independence struggle. Nationalists were reportedly thrown into the falls during the colonial era. Today, the site is also a place to honor those who died.
