    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Mamfe, start at the main market area. Head south on the main street until you reach the junction near the church. Turn left at the junction and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the outskirts of Mamfe. Look for signs directing you to Bangem. Follow the path that leads to the Bangem road. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach a small village. Ask locals for directions to Muanenguba twin lakes, as they are well-known in the area. Continue walking for another 4 kilometers, and you will arrive at a point where you may need to take a left turn towards Bangem town. From there, it's about 2 kilometers more, and you will see signs indicating Muanenguba twin lakes. Follow these signs until you reach the lakes.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle in Mamfe and start from the central market. Cycle south towards the main street, following the same route as for walking. After reaching the village on the outskirts of Mamfe, you will have to navigate through the local paths leading to Bangem. The bicycle will allow you to cover the 4 kilometers to the village more quickly. Once you reach the village, ask for directions to Muanenguba twin lakes, which are about 6 kilometers from the village. The ride will be scenic, so take your time and enjoy the views along the way. Be cautious of any uneven terrain.

    Motorbike Taxi (Okada)

    In Mamfe, go to a busy junction where motorbike taxis are usually available. Negotiate with a motorbike taxi driver to take you to Bangem. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to tell the driver you want to go to Muanenguba twin lakes. Once you arrive in Bangem, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the lakes. From there, it may require a short walk of about 1-2 kilometers following local signs or asking locals for guidance.
