Car
If you are driving from the center of Mankon, head southwest on Avenue de la Réunification towards Nkwen. Continue straight until you reach the junction at the Nkwen roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N11 highway. Follow the N11 for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Mile 4 Park on your right. Turn into the access road, and you will find parking available near the park entrance. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Mile 4 Park using public transportation, look for a 'taxi' (shared minibus) heading towards Nkwen. You can catch these taxis at various points in Mankon, especially around the main market area. Once aboard, inform the driver you want to go to Mile 4 Park. The fare typically costs around 100-200 CFA francs. After about 15-20 minutes, the driver will drop you off near the entrance of the park. Be sure to ask the driver to let you know when you arrive at Mile 4 Park to avoid missing your stop.
Walking from Nearby Areas
If you are staying close to Mile 4 Park, such as in a nearby hotel or residence, you can walk to the park. From the nearest major road (N11), head towards the park entrance, which is well marked. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point. Ensure to stay on the main paths as some areas may not have sidewalks.
