From the center of Ngaoundéré, walk east on Rue de l'Hôpital towards the train station. Continue straight on Rue de l'Hôpital until the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenue du Lac. Continue on Avenue du Lac until the intersection with Rue du Stade. Turn left onto Rue du Stade and continue until you reach the foot of Mont Ngaou-Hora. Walking to the mountain's base from the city center takes time, so consider other options for the first leg.
