    From Garoua, the capital of the North Region, take the N1 road heading northeast towards Lagdo. The drive is approximately 50 km and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once in Lagdo, follow signs leading to the lake. Be cautious as the last stretch may involve some dirt roads. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition. Parking is generally available near the lake, though it can be limited during peak times. There are no toll roads on this route.
