Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Bamenda, which is one of the major cities in the North-West Region. Head east on the N3 highway towards Bafut. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward the D6 road. Continue along the D6 for about 20 km until you reach the junction with the D8 road. Turn left onto D8 and drive for another 25 km. You will pass through beautiful rural landscapes. Follow the signs to Garbabi, and after about 10 km, you will arrive at the Cameroons Highlands. Ensure that your vehicle is in good condition, as some parts of the roads can be rough.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, start your journey in Bamenda. Head to the main bus station and take a shared taxi or bus heading towards Bafut. This ride should cost around 1000 CFA francs and take about 30 minutes. Once in Bafut, look for a shared taxi heading to Garbabi. The fare for this leg is approximately 2000 CFA francs, and the journey will take around 45 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to your destination or ask locals for assistance. Once you arrive in Garbabi, you can either walk or take a motorcycle taxi to the Cameroons Highlands, which is a short distance away.
