Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Buea, the capital of the South-West Region. Head towards Limbe on the A2 road. After approximately 20 km, you will reach a junction. Take a left turn onto the Bambili road, which is well-marked. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you reach the town of Bambili. Once in Bambili, follow the local signs or ask for directions to the mini waterfall, known as Forkweh, located at coordinates 6.000137, 10.2519567. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus or taxi from Buea to Limbe. From Limbe, catch a shared taxi heading towards Bambili. This taxi ride will cost approximately 1,500 CFA. Once you arrive in Bambili, you can either walk to the waterfall or hire a local motorbike taxi (bimoto) for about 500 CFA to take you closer to Forkweh mini waterfall. Make sure to ask the driver for the exact location to ensure they take you to the right spot.

Walking

If you are already in Bambili or nearby, you can walk to the Forkweh mini waterfall. From the center of Bambili, head towards the direction of the local market. Ask locals for the path leading to the waterfall; they are usually very helpful. The walk may take about 30 minutes, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven.
