If you are driving, head towards Limbe and take the A1 highway towards Buea. Once in Buea, follow the signs to Mount Manengouba. The final stretch involves taking a road towards the village of Muea. From Muea, you will need to take a smaller road that leads to the base of Mount Manengouba. Be prepared for some rough terrain, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Parking is available at the base, but be sure to secure your vehicle.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Manengouba using public transportation, start by taking a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Limbe to Buea. Once in Buea, look for a taxi-brousse heading towards Muea. Inform the driver that you want to get to Mount Manengouba. The cost for the taxi-brousse from Limbe to Buea is around 1000 CFA, and from Buea to Muea, it will be approximately 500 CFA. Once you arrive in Muea, you may need to hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you to the base of the mountain. This ride will cost around 1000-2000 CFA depending on the distance.

Once you reach the base of Mount Manengouba, you will need to hike to the summit. The hike typically takes about 2-4 hours, depending on your fitness level.
