Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Tiko, head towards the Tiko main market. Once you reach the market, ask locals for directions to the Kake area. Follow the main road leading out of Tiko, which is often bustling with pedestrians and vendors. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path and continue walking for another 20 minutes. You will pass by a few small shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for small signs indicating Kake. As you approach Kake, the surroundings will become quieter and more residential. You’ll know you’ve arrived when you see the signs leading to ‘7JFJ+VV’ area, which is the local designation for Kake.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Tiko. Start from the Tiko market and cycle along the main road heading towards the outskirts of Tiko. The route is relatively flat, making it easy to navigate. After about 15 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left turn at the fork and continue cycling for another 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye on your surroundings for signs indicating you are nearing Kake. The area will become less congested as you approach, and you should see indications for ‘7JFJ+VV’ shortly thereafter.

• Motorbike Taxi (Okada)

  In Tiko, you can easily find a motorbike taxi, commonly referred to as ‘Okada’. Approach a driver and tell them you want to go to Kake. They will likely be familiar with the area. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you through the main roads, and you can ask them to drop you off at the ‘7JFJ+VV’ area, which is the specific destination in Kake. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
