Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Banyang Mbo Wildlife Sanctuary. Head southeast on the main road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the sign for Groupement Bangam. Turn left onto the dirt road, which is marked by local signs. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see a fork in the road; take the right path. After another 2 kilometers, you will arrive at Plateau Yèh'ngnēūh. Watch out for local wildlife and be cautious of road conditions.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Plateau Yèh'ngnēūh using public transportation, you can take a bush taxi from the nearest town center within Banyang Mbo Wildlife Sanctuary. Look for a taxi heading towards Groupement Bangam. The fare is usually around 1,500 CFA Francs. Inform the driver that you want to stop near the Plateau Yèh'ngnēūh area. Once you reach the drop-off point, it is a 20-minute walk to the plateau. Follow the dirt road until you see signs leading to Plateau Yèh'ngnēūh. Ensure you have a local guide if you're unfamiliar with the area.

• Walking

  If you are already within walking distance in Banyang Mbo Wildlife Sanctuary, you can hike to Plateau Yèh'ngnēūh. From the nearest lodge or camping area, head southeast towards the dirt path that leads to the Groupement Bangam region. The hike is approximately 3 kilometers and may take about an hour. Ensure you carry sufficient water and wear sturdy shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
