If driving from Bamenda, head south on the N6 road for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction near Donga-Mantung. Follow the signs directing you towards Chutes de la Métché. Be prepared to navigate some unpaved roads, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. The total driving time is approximately 1 hour, depending on road conditions. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transport
To reach Chutes de la Métché via public transport from Bamenda, take a bus or shared taxi towards Donga-Mantung. The fare typically ranges from 1,000 to 2,000 CFA francs. Upon arriving at Donga-Mantung, hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'benskin') for about 1,000 CFA francs to take you directly to Chutes de la Métché. Negotiate the fare beforehand. The total travel time may take around 2 to 3 hours, including waiting times and transfers.
