Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from any location in the Acadian Peninsula, head towards Route 1. From the village of Caraquet, take Route 11 South until you reach the junction with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 West. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 80 km (about 50 miles) until you see the signs for Route 111 towards Saint Martins. Follow Route 111 for about 10 km (6 miles) until you reach the entrance of Fundy Trail Parkway. There is an admission fee of CAD 10 per vehicle for access to the park.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, you can take a bus from Caraquet to Saint John, which typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. From Saint John, you will need to take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Fundy Trail Parkway, as public transport options are limited. The taxi ride from Saint John to Fundy Trail Parkway will take approximately 1 hour and may cost around CAD 100-120, depending on the service.

• Bicycle

  For those interested in cycling, from the village of St. George, you can cycle along Route 1 towards Saint Martins. The distance is about 30 km (18.6 miles). Ensure you have the appropriate gear and follow safety guidelines while cycling on the road.

• Walking

  If you're close enough to Fundy Trail Parkway, consider walking from local accommodations in Saint Martins. The park is approximately 5 km (3 miles) from the center of Saint Martins. Follow the signs along Route 111 to reach the park entrance. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the walk may take about an hour.
