Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. From Halifax, take the Macdonald Bridge to cross over to Dartmouth. Once you are on the Dartmouth side, follow the signs for downtown. Turn onto Ochterloney Street, and you will find Alderney Landing at 2 Ochterloney St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 4W1. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared for potential parking fees depending on the area.
Public Transportation - Bus
Utilize the Metro Transit bus service for public transportation. From Halifax, take the bus number 1 (Dartmouth route) from any central location. The bus will take you directly to Alderney Landing. The fare is approximately $2.50 CAD for a single ride. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as buses may run less frequently on weekends.
Ferry
You can also take a ferry from Halifax to Dartmouth. The ferry departs from the Halifax waterfront and takes about 15 minutes to reach the Dartmouth side. The ferry terminal is located close to Alderney Landing, and upon disembarking, you can walk to Alderney Landing in just a few minutes. The ferry costs around $3.50 CAD for a one-way trip.
