If you are driving, you can use the following directions from Halifax. Head east on NS-111 E from Halifax, continue on NS-107 E. Take exit 20 for Cow Bay Rd. Follow Cow Bay Rd for about 5 km, and you will arrive at Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park, located at 2248 Cow Bay Rd, Cow Bay, NS B3G 1K8. There is parking available at the park, but be aware that parking fees may apply during peak seasons.
Public Transportation
To reach Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park via public transport, you can take the Metro Transit bus route 61 (to Cow Bay). You will need to board the bus at one of the main terminals in Halifax. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cow Bay stop, you will need to walk about 1 km down Cow Bay Rd to reach the park entrance.
