After about 14 km, take exit 6B to merge onto NS-1 E toward Eastern Passage. Continue on NS-1 E for approximately 11 km until you reach the entrance to the ferry terminal at Eastern Passage. You will need to park your car at the terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to McNabs Island. The ferry operates on a limited schedule, so check the ferry times in advance. The ferry ride takes around 15 minutes. Once you arrive at McNabs Island, follow the marked trails to Maugher Beach.
