This road leads directly to the Hefferton Causeway, the only road connection to the island. A small toll fee of approximately $1.00 CAD is required to cross the causeway. Once on the island, Route 231 provides access to various communities and points of interest.
Public Transport
For those using public transportation, take the DRL-LR bus from St. John's to Clarenville. The bus journey takes approximately 2 hours and 52 minutes, with tickets costing between $54 and $59 CAD. Upon arrival in Clarenville, a taxi to the Hefferton Causeway will cost around $20.00 CAD. From there, you can cross the causeway to Random Island.
