    From St. John's, take the Metrobus line 18 towards the Southern Shore. Please note that the bus will only take you as far as Shoal Bay Road by Park Lane, and from there you will need to take a taxi to Ferryland, which is approximately 26km away. The bus fare is approximately $2.50 CAD. A taxi from Shoal Bay Road to the Colony of Avalon will cost approximately $60-$70 CAD.
