If you're driving from the Cape Breton Highlands National Park Visitor Centre in Ingonish, head southwest on the Cabot Trail (Route 30) for approximately 40 km (about 30 minutes). You will pass through beautiful landscapes and coastal views. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 19, then take the left turn onto Route 19. Follow this road for about 15 km, and when you see the sign for Fishing Cove trailhead, turn right onto Cabot Trail (Route 30). The trailhead is located at 22065 Cabot Trail, Pleasant Bay, NS B0E 2P0. Parking is available at the trailhead, but be mindful of possible parking fees.
