Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the Cabot Trail (Route 30). From any part of Cape Breton Island, head towards Sydney. Once you arrive in Sydney, follow signs for NS-125 S. After about 3 km, take exit 3 for NS-125 S toward Glace Bay. Continue on NS-125 S for about 5 km, then take exit 4 toward NS-4. Merge onto NS-4 E and drive for about 8 km. Turn left onto Cottage Rd. After about 1 km, you will see the entrance to Baille Ard Trail on your right.
