Car
If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Highway 105. From Sydney, take Highway 125 to Highway 105 and follow it to Exit 8 towards Port Hawkesbury. Continue on Highway 105 until you reach the town of Inverness. As you enter Inverness, look for signs directing you to 'Inverness Beach.' Turn onto Beach No 1 Road, and you'll find the beach at 158 Beach No 1 Rd, Inverness, NS B0E 1X0. There is parking available at the beach.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Sydney. Look for the Maritime Bus service that operates routes to Inverness. Purchase a ticket from the bus terminal or online. The trip takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive in Inverness, you can either walk (around 25 minutes) or take a local taxi to Inverness Beach. Ensure to have cash or a credit card ready for the taxi fare.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route from the bus stop in Inverness to the beach, you can call a local taxi service. Taxis are available in the area, and a typical fare from the bus station to Inverness Beach is around $10-$15 CAD. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
