    To reach Janvrin Island by car, start from Sydney, the largest city on Cape Breton Island. Head southeast on NS-125 S for about 15 km. Follow signs for NS-4 S towards Glace Bay. Continue on NS-4 S for approximately 70 km until you reach the town of Port Hawkesbury. From Port Hawkesbury, take the exit onto NS-104 E, then merge onto NS-344 S towards the town of Arichat. Follow NS-344 which will lead you to the causeway onto Janvrin Island. Note that there are no tolls for this route.

    Public transportation options are limited, but you can take a bus to Port Hawkesbury from various locations in Cape Breton. Look for Maritime Bus services that run from Sydney to Port Hawkesbury. Once in Port Hawkesbury, you will need to use a taxi or pre-arranged shuttle service to reach Janvrin Island, as public transit does not service the island directly.
