Car
From central Cariboo, take Highway 97 North towards Cache Creek. Continue on Highway 97 for approximately 110 kilometers until you reach the junction with Highway 1. Merge onto Highway 1 East and follow it for about 290 kilometers. You will pass through several towns, including Kamloops and Merritt. At the junction with Highway 5, continue on Highway 1 East until you reach the city of Hope. From Hope, take Highway 1 East towards Chilliwack, then merge onto Highway 9 towards Mission. From Mission, take Highway 7 towards Agassiz, and then take Highway 1 North until you reach Thunder Bay, Ontario. Wabakimi Provincial Park is located approximately 35 kilometers northwest of Thunder Bay. Follow the signs to the park entrance.
Public Transportation
If you are traveling by public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from various cities within British Columbia to Thunder Bay. Once you arrive in Thunder Bay, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to the park entrance, as public transit does not go directly to Wabakimi Provincial Park. The taxi fare may vary, but you should expect to pay around CAD 70-100 for the trip to the park.
Combination of Car and Water Transport

Drive to Armstrong via Highway 1 and then take the road to the lake.
